The BEST Brussel Sprouts

Brussel sprouts… delicious, say what? This recipe changed my husband’s view on how Brussel sprouts could taste.

These Brussels are so quick and easy, plus taste amazing. They way they absorb that balsamicy goodness creates the most tender bites. A great way to add some color and nutrition to any meal.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups halved Brussel sprouts
  • 3 tbsp wine
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Get out a skillet – I love my cast-iron for this, get it nice and hot and add the butter to the pan. Let the butter sit and start to brown. It will bubble and foam and smell amazing! That's how you know it's ready.
  2. Once the butter starts to brown, set the brussels (halved) with the flat side down into the butter. Let them sit in the butter for about 5 min or until they start to brown on the side.
  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar, garlic, salt, and lemon pepper over the top and stir them. Add a splash of wine to deglaze the pan. Cook on low for another 5 min or until tender.
  4. Serve right away and ENJOY!
